Gary has purchased a new bass, that looks very elegant, it is actually an electric upright bass i.e. Electric version of a double bass.

80s Project to collaborate with Birmingham film maker Gurnack Bahra

The band are very excited to be working with Gurnack Bahra as filming starts on the new video.  The film will be shot on location in Birmingham and at live venues during the summer.  Gurnack has worked with 80s Project before and is a really talented photographer and film maker.

Little Mix Pay Tribute To 80s Project

Following on from the huge live success of Word Up at our recent shows, Little Mix have decided to get in on the act and release their own cover version of the song originally released by Cameo. It seems that even at now 80s Project are still setting the trends.

New Drum Kit for Nick

After many years of devotion to DW Nick has this week taken delivery of a new White Natal Kit. Natal drums are made by Marshall amplification and are used by drummers such as Sean Moore of Manic Street Preachers, Steven G-Legend recently of Rihanna and Rita Ora and many others.

He is twitching with excitement and set to debut them this weekend in Devon.

Studio Sessions now finished

80s Project have just completed the recording sessions for new songs. Currently they are being engineered by Michael Jacobs and will be release on the website shortly.
